Northwood Youth Club
More Than Sport.
Building Friendships, Confidence & Futures.
— Our Mission
A Place to Belong, An Opportunity to Grow
Northwood Youth Club was originally set up to help reduce anti-social behaviour in the surrounding area, by giving young people positive activities and somewhere safe to spend their time.
Our ambition has since grown well beyond running sports sessions. We want to create a welcoming environment where young people can build friendships, develop confidence, improve their social skills and feel part of their community.

— More Than Just Sport
Supporting Young People Beyond the Pitch
Our dedicated youth workers support young people throughout every session, helping them develop communication skills, teamwork, confidence and positive relationships.
Our long-term ambition is to make a lasting difference to the lives of those who attend, supporting their personal development and helping prepare them for future education, employment and life opportunities.

Removing Barriers, Creating Opportunities
We're proud to have secured funding through The National Lottery Community Fund's Awards for All programme and Sport England's Movement Fund.
That support means the Youth Club is completely free to attend — removing financial barriers so that every young person in the community can take part, whatever their circumstances.

Making It Possible Together
We deliver the Youth Club in partnership with Dizzy Heights, who share our ambition to support young people in the local area.
Our Monday sessions are also supported by Stoke City Foundation.

Making a Difference That Lasts
We want Northwood Youth Club to become something young people look back on as a positive and important part of growing up.
A place where friendships began, confidence developed, new interests were discovered and opportunities became possible.
We don't just want to give young people somewhere to spend a few hours each week. We want to have a lasting, positive influence on their lives and futures.

Come Along. Join In.
Bring a friend or come on your own — everyone's welcome, and it won't cost you a penny.
